Installment Loans
We are unable to change or add to an order that has already been placed. To place a second updated order, please contact the retailer directly and request an order cancellation or return.
Once the retailer receives and processes your cancellation or return, a partial or full refund will be automatically applied to your Bread account. Your account status and balance will be adjusted accordingly.
You may still have an outstanding balance after a cancellation has been processed. This balance could consist of restocking fees, return shipping fees, accrued interest, or some combination of these. Please check the retailer’s refund and returns policy to determine if these fees apply to your purchase and return.
If a partial cancellation or return is issued, your account balance will be adjusted to reflect your new remaining balance. If a cancellation or refund is issued in full, any payments made on your Bread account will be returned to you less any applicable accrued interest, restocking fees, or return shipping fees.
Any cancellations or refunds issued in excess of your current account balance will result in a customer credit. This credit will be returned to the account used to make payments on your Bread account.
You can make payments in Bread’s Member Portal on the Home Page by selecting “Make a Payment”.
To make a payment via phone, please call our Member Support team here.
Yes! You can prepay anytime for all or part of your loan. There is never a penalty for paying early.
You can use a personal debit card, checking, or savings account to make a payment for your Bread purchase online in Bread’s Member Portal. Bread does not accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) payment cards because we are not designated as a health services retailer.
You can also mail us a check or set up automatic bill pay with your bank. To do so, please refer to the address below:

Please be sure that your account number is referenced on the check or any payments set up through your bank, and allow yourself 7-10 business days in advance for the bank to process your payment by your due date.
If you are asked to pay for part of your purchase up-front, this means that you were not approved for financing for the full amount of your purchase.
With some participating retailers, you are allowed to split payment for your purchase by paying for part of the purchase price up front with a credit or debit card, and financing the rest through Bread’s lending partner, Cross River Bank.
Paying your loan early will not adjust your monthly installment amount.
